BFBC2 Weapon info!

NEW DAMAGE CHART
HOW DAMAGE WORKS
Damage its pretty straight forward, the weapon deals maximum damage until reach the falloff start distance, then drops linearly until falloff end distance. Further away it always deal minimum damage.
IE: AEK971 deals 14,3 damage until it reach 6 meters (game distance units are meters) then it drop until 40 mts and 12.5 damage.
Players have 100 pts of life normally.
NOTE: i failed to fail info on SPAS12 slug version, it seems that file its missing from game.
EDIT: The damage for normal shotguns its per pellet. 870, SPAS and Neostead deal 12x12/12x3 damage, Saiga and USAS deal 6x12/6x3
HITS TO KILL
This chart its just processed data from the raw damage chart, but shows more clearly the power of weapons.
Range its the distance (in meters, as always) which separates close from far.
IE: AUG rifle can kill in 6 shots from a distance of 19 mts or closer, further away it requires 7 to 9 hits to kill
Magnum rounds are values for the enhaced damage spec (damage x 1,25).
Shotgun shell values for far are pointless cause it depends on how many pellet hit, making those semi random.

bah, the an94, m416 and m16a2 of the assault character are burst fire.
normally i burst with every weapon but in close combat burst only gets you killed.
they should have made that feature like in stalker, toggle between burst and continuous fire.
i used to look at these charts as well:

I'm pretty sure the m16A2 isn't burst. Will check later.

nope i just tested the m16a2 assault and its burst.
could only play a few minutes i had to ragequit.

new patch, changes everything. (also new catalyst which suppose to shorten load time on ati cards)
an94 is even stronger now while m16a2 is weakened.
also m95 and m60 and carl gustav is weaker.
and also my favourate weapon, the main reason i played the game, the 40 mm grenade launcher is weakened.
